BOOTS TEA TREE & WITCH HAZEL

By 20:51

I was very very lucky to win a giveaway hosted by Jess recently, and was over the moon when I recieved my gifts in the post! I've been trying them out over the past week or so, so I thought that I'd give you all a little lowdown on what I think of them since they're all so affordable!

In a nutshell, I recieved a Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Day Moisturiser, Night Moisturiser and Spot Wand. I was very very happy with the moisturisers since I always get dry and broken skin on my nose, which is something I'm really trying to combat. I found that the Night Moisturiser worked really well, after a few nights my skin did feel softer, it looked smoother and my skin wasn't peeling anywhere near as bad. I also woke up with significantly worse skin after not putting this on before bed last night - I'm not too sure whether it's a coincidence or not but either way, I'm glad to have got it in my skincare routine. I've also been liking the Day Moisturiser since it works very nicely as a Primer. It claims to have 'Shine Control' which, although I don't have oily skin, seems to work quite well as my skin does look more matte throughout the day and my foundation actually stays out! (Shock Horror!)

The Spot Wand seems, however, to be a slight disappointment. I didn't have high expectations since I've never really found a 'spot wand' which works, but this didn't appear to do anything at all. There are two options - A green cream for at night and a transparent one for in the day. I've been using the night one more frequently than the day, since I generally associate night products with being more heavy duty since the idea is that they work through the night. I have been disappointed here, although I'm going to continue to use it with a mix of other products to see if I can find it to work somehow.

I am so so grateful to receive these, since both the moisturiser and the gel have become a part of my daily routine - I don't know what I'd do without them now!

See You Soon!
